INNOCV is a technology consultancy that partners with Unicaja, one of Spain’s largest financial institutions, on its digital transformation journey. As a Senior DevOps Engineer embedded in the bank’s technology team, I contribute to modernizing the core banking platform, migrating workloads to cloud-native infrastructure, and establishing development practices that enable faster, safer software delivery.
I design and maintain CI/CD pipelines that automate the build, test, and deployment of banking applications across multiple environments. This includes managing Kubernetes clusters, containerizing microservices, implementing infrastructure-as-code with Terraform and Ansible, and ensuring every change flows from commit to production through a repeatable, auditable process. I also drive the migration of on-premise systems to hybrid cloud architectures, reducing operational overhead and improving scalability across the platform.
Beyond infrastructure and pipelines, I help define the observability strategy — deploying monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions that give the team full visibility into system health and performance. I work closely with development, security, and operations teams to enforce security policies, manage secrets, and maintain compliance with banking regulations. The role also involves mentoring junior engineers, documenting runbooks and architectural decisions, and driving the cultural shift toward DevOps practices across the organization.
